What's the significance of the CFP® and CFA credentials?
CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements. The CFP certification mark is the most highly respected and widely recognized professional designation in the financial planning industry.

CFA or CHARTERED FINANCIAL ANALYST refers to a designation which is the mark of distinction for investment professionals worldwide throughout the investment industry. First awarded in 1963, the CFA charter, administered by the CFA Institute, is awarded to investment professionals who demonstrate professional, educational and ethical excellence. It is a distinction respected by regulators and investment institutions, and, increasingly, demanded by private investors.
